Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform. Millions of people—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups and now key public institutions—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and intelligently manage funds. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
As a front line manager covering new business, you’ll work with your team of account executives to identify new opportunities to build Stripe’s footprint in the Public Sector. More specifically, we’re looking for someone with experience selling into Federal, State, Local govt and educational + nonprofit institutions. Even better if that experience is selling payments, saas, and other technical sales. We’re looking for someone to lead a team and coach seasoned account executives to execute on long-term sales strategies, engage with internal and external stakeholders, align on technical and business requirements with product teams, build value in competitive situations, lead commercial negotiations, and close deals.
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
