Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.
In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

Role Purpose
As a Physician at Neko you will deliver Neko's preventive-care model to members in our New York clinic(s). This is a role that allows you to practice preventive medicine – intentionally and fully. You'll sit down with members, talk openly about their health, and help them leave knowing what matters and what to do next. Neko's non-invasive screening gives you an early, detailed picture. Your part is turning that picture into a warm, honest, two-way conversation that genuinely changes what healthcare feels like for Neko members.
This is a deeply collaborative role at the intersection of clinical excellence, member experience, and a conviction that catching things early changes lives. You'll work closely with Operators (medical assistants), APPs, and cross-functional partners to deliver a seamless member experience.
What You'll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months
Consultations that feel like conversations: you ask, listen, and explain findings in plain language, so every member feels heard and leaves with a clear picture of their health.
Personalized, action-oriented health plans built together with the member from their screening results and what matters to them, translated into next steps they actually take, measured by member follow-through and downstream outcomes.
Member education on dermatological and cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle strategies, shared as a dialogue rather than a lecture, and measured by how the member felt about the consultation, not just the clinical findings.
Comprehensive preventive health screenings with consistent quality across every member visit, using Neko's skin imaging, cardiovascular assessments, and AI-powered decision support as tools that support your clinical judgment while the conversation stays with the person in front of you.
Clinical oversight and escalation support for APPs, serving as supervising or collaborating physician and raising the bar for clinical quality and team performance across the clinic.
Cross-functional collaboration with Operators, APPs, and care teams that improves continuity of care and the end-to-end member experience.
What We’re Hiring For
Natural warmth and presence: people open up to you. You put members at ease quickly, stay curious about their lives, ask good questions, and listen more than you talk.
Genuine, personal commitment to preventive medicine, not just as a specialism, but as a way of practicing. A conviction that prevention should be the core of medicine.
Member-first instinct: you take the member experience personally, not just procedurally, and measure a consultation's success by how the member felt, not only by the findings.
Team-lifting collaboration: you make the people around you better by showing up consistently, sharing what you know, and caring how the team performs as a whole.
Ease with novel technology beyond what you learned in your training. You're interested in the tools because they help you care for members better, and you're happy to learn new ones.
